September 5 -- New Year's Gift

"New Year's Gift" was the previous name of our home before my family acquired it in the late 1960s. This real estate ad, rediscovered today, seems to hail from the mid-60s: after the last major renovation that added the new kitchen, master bedroom, and dining room. Note that the carport (which we demolished this year) did not exist (look far left of top photo) at the time this ad ran.
