With the new back porch addition complete, it now can accommodate two Adirondack chairs and two large dogs.

Paint
As you may have noticed, we also painted the house grey. In 2015 we painted the new garage this color, knowing the long-term plan was to have the house be grey. A trim feature around the front door is also nearly complete. We will also embark upon a restoration of this porch roof -- if you look closely the right side is sinking a bit. Ok, a lot.
Stone Wrapping
To better-repel critters, and also to tie the house into other stone features, we have wrapped the lower portion in field stone. Most work was completed in the fall; this is the last area near the basement entrance.
Back in the Saddle
Apologies to the follower(s?) who have been waiting so long for updates to our renovation efforts. Here is the finished back porch, now fully painted, trimmed out, new lighting, etc. New sod will be laid to complete the lawn area.
