December 23 -- Refinished Floors, an Update

No progress on the spiral stairs, much to our Constant Readers' disappointment. Here are the floors of the two rooms bring refinished this week. 

The library:

Interestingly, the knots in the library pine floor did not take up the stain, but I'm ok with it -- it is a neat effect.
