February 28 -- Getting the Place Back Together

Sitting room, but closet door needs final paint coat:

Lounge area finished (except for a better center ottoman or coffee table):

The view out toward the patio. Retracting screen is installed, next step is dark stain for doors:

February 19 -- "Let There Be (More) Light"

New lighting along the spiral staircase, which really shows off the stonework.

February 18 -- Front Steps Refinishing

We had put off refinishing this last area -- the front steps and foyer -- until most of the interior renovation was completed and the tradesmen foot traffic was reduced to its lowest level. 

February 15-19 -- Just Too Cold

It is too cold to install the block walls for the garage. Otherwise, final electrical and heating touches are ongoing inside the house.

February 12 -- Block Party

Several pallets of Cinder block arrived this week for the garage foundation and lower walls.
