May 7 -- Bar Takes Shape
Over the past two days the bulk of the bar has been assembled. Appliances and plumbing and tops still to come. There will be a false column surrounding the pipes that supply water to the girls' bath upstairs.

May 2 -- We're Going to Need a Plan B

May 1 -- New Patio Layout
This area was completed last week, but the new drain only got a good test with last night's rainfall.
May 1 -- Fingers Crossed
We have applied a liquid to breakdown and easily remove the layers of paint on the smoke house. The age of the brick and mortar makes it too fragile to power wash or sand-blast.
The material is applied as thick as 1/4", covered for 12-48 hours, and then peeled off, hopefully taking the unwanted paint with it.
May 1 -- Bar Template
Construction of the bar should begin next week. The cardboard in this photo is the basic outline of the bar. TV will hang between the two windows.
